About R. Mordant Mahon

R Mordant Mahon R. Mordant Mahon was born to a future British flamenco dancer and a Greek merchant marine half a world away in Karachi, Pakistan. Adopted at birth by a family in the U.S. State Department, he was a globetrotter by the time he had reached Third Grade.
Mordant is a Universal Healing Tao Certified Instructor who teaches Taoist-based Chi Kung to those who would learn practical application for self-healing and Quantum Manifestation. In 2006, his fellow Universal Healing Tao Instructor and friend, Sarina Stone, shared a decade-old pet project she had been revisiting. After much begging and pleading – on his part, not hers – Sarina capitulated, and Mordant gleefully lent his pen and wit to co-create the masterpiece you see before you.
A true renaissance man, Mordant is an eclectic dabbler in a wide variety of subjects varying from religion, theater, and psychology in college to bullwhips, staged combat, and Taoist energy work in more recent years. Prior to co-authoring Why Real Women Drink Straight Tequila – the Tao of Intimacy, Mordant spent 20 years as a comedic writer and performer. He now tours nationally and internationally (yes, Canada counts) with the comedy troupe known as the Tortuga Twins.
